you tear me down, i rise back stronger.

Every time you try to silence me,

My voice only gets louder,

Every time you try to shame me,

I only feel bolder and prouder,

Got a flock of hateful enemies, who taunt and jeer my name,

“They laugh because I’m different, I laugh because they’re all the same,”

All your attempts to tear me down,

Just elevate me higher,

You tried to burn me with your match,

And I made it my fire,

You tried to disempower me, 

Make me feel weak and smaller,

But now that I’m back on my feet,

I just laugh, standing taller,

If I don’t have the final word,

I’ll still get the last laugh,

‘Cause I’M the one with the Empire of Gold,

My soul, my heart, my art,

And that’s more than I can say for you,

You soulless piece of shit,

All you’re full of is nastiness,

And apathy, that’s it,

But me, I am a vibrant soul,

So full of light and love,

And passion, talent, heart and pain,

But, best of all, I always rise above,

Above the vicious noise or claws, 

The cackles that call me strange, 

I’ve always had the strongest will,

And that will never change,

And that’s more than I can say for you,

You sour, bitter loser,

In spite of all you put me through,

I still remain un-moved, yuh!

Your sneers became my anger,

And your jeers became my passion,

And your jabs became my fury,

All your barbs became my story,

I turned every word into inspiration,

Made my trauma my creation,

Built my beauty through the pain,

It’s me who gained, with my beautiful brain,

So, in the end, who really won?

You had your laugh.

Now it’s my turn.
